DS Seminar held on 3 April 2025 and 9 October 2025 continued to serve as a platform for sharing with DS the latest development in the management of civil service as well as the EO Grade and Clerical & Secretarial Grades.
First Meetup for Mentors and Mentees
On 23 July 2025, the GGO organised the First Meetup for Mentors and Mentees for EOsII who joined the Grade in 2024 and 2025. Over 50 Mentors and 120 Mentees attended the Meetup. SPEO(G) also joined to share
with the participants the latest development of the Grade as well as her experience in coping with work challenges.

GGO’s Training Programmes
Law for Human Resource (HR) Managers
Congratulations to 36 colleagues who successfully completed the six-month programme of the Law for HR Managers on 11 March 2025. This tailor-made programme, conducted by the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong,
aimed to equip EO colleagues with knowledge of the Hong Kong legal system, contract and tort law, administrative law and ordinances that are pertinent to their roles as public sector HR managers.

Experience Sharing Seminar on Strategic Perspective for CEOs and above
At the experience sharing seminar held on 25 February 2025, Ms Anna Au, Deputy Director (Hong Kong Talent Engage) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau, shared her distinctive insights and professional expertise in addressing unconventional challenges in Hong
Kong Talent Engage, which provides one-stop support services to help incoming talents integrate into Hong Kong society for long-term development. The seminar was well-received by the participants.

Informal Meetings with EOsII
On 4 September 2025, the GGO organised two sessions of informal meetings with EOsII who joined the Grade between 2021 and 2022. Over 200 EOsII participated in the event. Two fellow SEOs, Anthony Chiu and Miss Connie Yeung were invited as guest speakers
to share their working experience.
